Description
Pedernales Falls is one of my favorite Texas State Parks along with Enchanted Rock SNA and Lost Maples SNA. Some of the reasons why I love this park are its miles and miles of hiking trails through juniper-covered hills and through many creek crossings; the bald cypresses display during the Fall season along the river; its dark skies despite its proximity to Dripping Springs and Austin, and its beautiful falls that afford so many wonderful photographic compositions! In this case, my family and I visited in Spring Break 2018 and decided to take the Hackenburg Loop trail down to the river. The trail meanders through oak savannah and grasses before descending to the river area. Thanks for looking. FAA watermark WILL NOT show on fine art print.
