Description
After my failed visit to Garner State Park, I made the 1/2 hour drive to Lost Maples State Natural area to capture the fall colors. I hadn't seen any weekly fall foliage reports, so I didn't really had a plan, except to do a bit of hiking and breath the fresh fall air. This trail is parallel to Can Creek, and follows a canyon up to the pond, where you can find primitive camping sites. I came across this gorgeous sight a few feet before I exited the maple forest. Thanks for looking. FAA watermark WILL NOT show on fine art print.
