Description
Black and White panorama from Halfway House, a stone building on Flagstaff Mountain that is used for diverse venues such as wedding. The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) constructed this enclosed building in 1935, located halfway up the Flagstaff Mountain Road. It includes a patio, picnic area and restrooms.
Today it lies within the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks.
A lone changing cottonwood sits to the right of the image. Thanks for looking. FAA watermark WILL NOT show on fine art print.
