Description
This image was made at the Houston Japanese Garden, near the Sam Houston Monument in Hermann Park. The gardens were built in 1991 on five across of pine and oak woodlands. Cherry trees were planted in October 2012 to commemorate the original gift of cherry trees to the United States by Japan in 1912.
