Canyon de Chelly is a series of canyons and scenic overlooks divided into two sections, the North and the South Rim. It is jointly operated by the Navajo Nation and the National Park Service. The Navajo still live within the walls of the canyon, where they tend to their crops and their cattle. This image was inspired by the Kokopelli D'von Charley, who serenaded me while I was walking from the parking lot to the scenic overlook. 50% of the sales of any image made at the North Rim of the Canyon de Chelly will be donated to him and his fiancee Natasha.
