I visited the Southwest during the Monsoon season of 2013, during late August. On the last day of my 2000-mile road trip I ended up at Taos, after having visited Abiquiu and the Ghost Ranch Area. Pueblo de Taos or Taos Pueblo is the oldest, continuously inhabited settlement in the United States, having being built 1000 years ago! Depicted here is San Geronimo, or Saint Jerome church. 90% of member of the Pueblo have been baptized as Roman Catholics, while the rest still practice their ancient indigenous religion! FAA watermark will not appear on final print.
