Artist's Description

"Skyscraper" is what this building used to be called back in 1931 when it was built by Fred Stone and A. Babin. The fourteen-story building features art deco styling, and characteristic of this style, the landmark exhibits bold colors and heavy ornamentation.
Having left Northwest Houston at 4:20 AM to reach New Orleans in time for the afternoon, I approached Beaumont on Interstate 10 at approximately 5:50 AM. I love it when I have a trip well planned out and all of the sudden these unexpected things come my way! I hope you enjoy it, thanks for looking. FAA watermark will not show up on final printed artwork.

About Silvio Ligutti

Silvio Ligutti

Thank you for visiting my portfolio. 10% OF MY PROFITS DURING THE MONTH OF MARCH 2024 WILL BE DONATED TO THE STAR OF HOPE HOUSTON, a charitable organization that helps Houston's homeless people. My donations are NOT anonymous, so feel free to check at http://www.sohmission.org. I also proclaim that my artist's proceeds are to honor God in all His glory, so part of my earnings are shared with KSBJ 89.3 "God Listens" and Second Baptist Church. In other words, I try to walk the Path of God's Will for me. Going on a...
