The Lifeguard Towers of Miami Beach are certainly a delight to one's eyes!
Lifeguard towers can be found all around the world, but not many places can boast so many different examples of this kind of architecture. They watch over and protect us along a 8 1/2 mile stretch of Miami Beach. The city of Miami Beach has Hurricane Andrew back in 1992 to thank for these recent additions. During the aftermath and recovery period an architect by the name of William Lane offered his design services and built some of the 25 towers that we see today. Thanks for looking!
