Year after year I say I will try to photograph the Freedom Over Texas fireworks on the 4th of July, but year after year I get discouraged by the hordes of people blocking views from bridges and careless drivers on the freeways. It is very dangerous out there on that night, and folks even stop on freeway overpasses and park on the shoulder of the I-45 and I-10 freeways to afford themselves a view. This year in particular, 2017, my Wife and I happened to drop some wedding photographs at an apartment complex with a 8-story parking garage, near Downtown Houston. That was my safe chance! It is definitely not easy to capture fireworks, as if you don't get it right the first few seconds, the sky will fill up with smoke! Thanks for looking, enjoy the view.
