Let me tell you a little bit about the technical aspects of this image: The camera has to be placed on a tripod, since the shutter will be open for 3 minutes: In order for me to achieve such long exposure, I have to attach a very, very dark filter, called a 9-stop neutral density filter. It filters most of the light, and only lets a tiny percentage of luminosity reach the camera sensor, (or the film, if I was shooting film.) Such long time lets me capture the beautiful movement in the ominous clouds, which turn into beautiful brushstrokes in the sky...thanks for looking! FAA watermark, WILL NOT appear on final print
