Artist's Description
This is me during Wildflower Season in Texas: "fuhgeddaboudit!" It is too stressful to be reading reports, scouting locations, and it is never easy living a few hours away from the Texas Hill Country! So, rather than worry about chasing the ephemeral bluebonnets and indian paintbrushes, I settle on what's not going to disappoint: The lovely waterways of the region, and their gorgeous cypress-lined banks and crystal clear waters. This particular panorama was made near the Canyon Lake Spillway, and after a hard work's day maintaining our rental property located a few minutes away from this spot. There's a small 24/7 fishing pier near the hydroelectric plant and some trails that straddle the north and south shores of the river. This is a panoramic collage composed of six portrait oriented photographs. Thanks for looking. FAA watermark WILL NOT show on fine art print.
