Artist's Description
On my way from Monument Valley Navajo Tribal State Park to Natural Bridges National Monument, I was not aware that Highway 261, the "Trail of the Ancients", climbed the southern edge of Cedar Mesa in a series of vertigo-inducing switchbacks. As I was driving up, the view mesmerized me more at each turn, so I decided to pay attention to the road and shoot this magnificent view from the top. Once at the scenic overlook, I decided the lighting was not the best, so I figured I would wait until the next morning to arrive at this location before sunrise. Enjoy the view! I long to go back here...FAA watermark will not appear on final printed artwork.
