Description
After having hiked around Valles Caldera all day, I returned to Albuquerque determined to capture the Sandias in the soft golden hour light of sunset. I had been unsuccessful the previous day doing so since a thick bank of clouds sat at the horizon, obscuring the landscape. For this particular photograph I had to wait 1/2 for the sun to peak behind the clouds. It was my only chance, since thick thunderstorm clouds parked above at sunset time. Thanks for looking!
