Artist's Description
This image was made on the second day of my Chicago photo trip. Having woken up at 4 AM to catch the Blue Hour reflecting on Cloud Gate, I proceeded north on Michigan Avenue with a not so well defined plan. I knew I wanted to photograph the Wrigley Building but didn't know how until I'd reach the Chicago River on Michigan Avenue. Once I got to Wacker Drive, which borders the south side of the river, I came across this highly attractive view with fast moving clouds coming from the Southwest. I attached a "neutral density filter" to the lens to capture the movement in the clouds and made this 20-second exposure.
