I set my alarm at 4:00 AM and made the drive from Cypress, TX to Waco in under 2 1/2 hours. Arriving a few minutes before civil twilight, I looked at the best possible compositions for this shot. As the sky was getting increasingly luminous, fast moving clouds appeared from the southeast, gracing the photograph with its motion on this 6-second exposure. I had initially photographed the building from the west, but then positioned myself on Founders Mall, next to the Draper Academic Building to capture another perspective. Thanks for looking.
