This is one out of a series of photographs I captured while driving the Davis Mountains Scenic Loop as it turn north facing Sawtooth Mountain, west of Fort Davis, Texas. At every turn of the road there was an awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping vista. The golden hour light of the late afternoon sun gently caressed the juniper-dotted grassland, and oh, that smell of the high desert after a shower storm, it still is fresh in my mind!
