And this is the breathtaking view high up in the Davis Mountains at the state park. The Skyline drive zigzags its way up the mountain side to reach this scenic overlook, from where the Indian Lodge, Mount Livermore, Blue Mountain and Locke Mountain can be spotted, with the McDonald Observatory sitting atop the latter. I was ecstatic but at the same time I felt a bit selfish for having left my family in Houston and not being able to share the beauty of God's creation with them. We will be back in late August to enjoy the greenery the Monsoon rains lend to this region. Thanks for looking. FAA watermark WILL NOT show on fine art print.
